The Beginning

Maeska Actividades, S.L. was founded in 2008 when friends and colleagues Jon and Xavi joined forces to launch a brand of handbags.

They began to design handbags that reflected their personalities and experience in the industry, with the aim of creating versatile products that would make their customers’ daily lives easier.

Although KCB debuted during a period of economic uncertainty, the brand was very well received. After a few years of steady growth, Jon and Xavi applied the concept behind KCB to a new brand, The Bagging Company, which would feature unique bags crafted out of leather.

Today

Maeska is now home to four brands, as we are an official licensee of Privata and are also embarking on a new adventure this year: Guspirus, a collaboration with Barcelona-based artist Vanessa Linares.

Over the years Maeska has grown into a leader in our field. We pride ourselves on being reliable, professional and honest.

Our team’s know-how and experience in handbag design, production and distribution set us apart as a company that offers a high-quality product that anticipates our customers’ needs with fresh, functional designs.

Looking Towards the Future

At Maeska, we’re determined to continue to evolve in everything we do. To us, this means researching and developing new materials and production techniques and embracing environmental sustainability.

We aspire to continue to reduce our impact on the environment, going beyond the latest international environmental regulations in order to help preserve our planet.
